This pamphlet is developed by the Arab NGO Network for Development and with the support of the CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness. It provides an overview of the characteristics and features of the South-South Co-operation (SSC) and its manifestation in the Arab world. The pamphlet links South-South cooperation to opportunities for the rise of the South and its strengthened position in global politics and economy. It also focuses on Arab development cooperation in terms of its importance and geographical and sectoral distribution and provides a critical view of its content and dimensions, especially in the light of the changes taking place in the Arab world.
