Monitoring of human rights conditions in Egypt and Iraq through Universal Periodic Review
During the 34th Working Group session of the Universal Periodic Review, human rights records of Egypt and Iraq will be reviewed as well as the implementation of previous UPR recommendations. ANND has collaborated with members in Iraq and presented two submissions, one comprehensive covering economic and social rights and one specifically looking at civic space.
For Egypt, together with CIVICUS a joint submission was presented on enabling environment.
