The brief includes the recommendations of Civil Society Organizations participating in a regional forum on Economic and Social Rights in Light of the Global Crises: what is the Alternative Development Model in the Arab region? that was held in Beirut on the 6th and the 7th of January 2011, with the participation of more than 180 representatives of civil society organizations in 17 Arab countries, as well as representatives of the UN organization and other organizations, in addition to international and regional networks.
