Economic and social rights conditions in Lebanon in light of second cycle Universal Periodic Review
Before the adoption of the second cycle uiversal Periodic Review of Lebanon during the Human Rights Council 31st session , ANND submitted a written statement highlighting the need for Lebanon to translate all recommendations accepted into comprehensive, concrete and effective action at national level. This requires a serious commitment by adopting a road map and defining a clear timeline for implementation. Lebanon should establish a follow-up and monitoring mechanism that involves all relevant stakeholders including the civil society, and to engage with the media to raise further awareness andensure accountability.
