Brief : Tamara is recipient of the Geneva International Prize for Human Rights as the first Palestinian and Arab woman to receive this award due to her dedication and work in defending human rights in Palestine. She worked as a major legal researcher in monitoring Palestinian courts. She worked on localizing gender and human rights issues in Palestinian laws, and integrating youth priorities into strategies. National, and worked with many international, regional and local institutions as a researcher on human rights, developmental and political issues. Tamara is a member of many human rights, developmental, feminist and youth institutions and bodies, most notably the Youth Advisory Committee (YAP), the Arab Women Legal Network, the Forum for Innovation in Gender Issues, and she represented Palestinian youth and women in international forums and worked to raise their voices.
