Brief : Mwaura Kaara is a Kenyan environmentalist and social justice advocate known for his work in promoting sustainable development, environmental conservation, and human rights in Kenya and beyond. Mwaura Kaara is currently the programs coordinator at the Social Development Network (SODNET) which is an indigenous organization, backstopping reflection and action by local groups on causes and consequences of poverty and disempowerment of large sections of the Kenyan communities. He is holder of a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration, Kenyatta university, and Bachelor of Education Degree, Major is History and Minor in Kiswahili from the university of Nairobi.
