Senior researcher

Brief : Senior researcher (Entrepreneurship Development Foundation (EDF), Baku, Azerbaijan). Areas of his academic and professional interests are natural resource governance, gender-responsive budgeting, fiscal transparency, civic participation, enabling environment for the NGOs, sustainable development, political economy, international relations, and energy transition of the Eurasian countries. Additionally, he was a Program Officer for the Asia region at the International Budget Partnership, IBP, (Washington DC, USA) assisting the non-governmental organizations and governments on public finance reforms, fiscal transparency and economic development issues in 2016-2017. He has been a regular trainer and researcher for the NRGI’s Eurasia Extractive Industries Knowledge Hub (Baku, Azerbaijan) training courses on natural resource management, fiscal policy, and transparency in extractive industries. He has been visiting lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna (Austria) and Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University (Turkey).
