Brief : Dr. Ali Saleem Saleh Al-Hammouri is an Associate Professor of Public International Law at the Faculty of Law at Applied Science Private University, as well as a lawyer and researcher specializing in international environmental law. He has more than twenty years of academic and administrative experience in higher education, with a focus on teaching public international law, international environmental law, and cyber laws, alongside his interest in environmental and climate legislation, climate justice, and the legal dimensions of modern technology and artificial intelligence.He has published more than 25 peer-reviewed papers indexed in the Scopus database, and his work has received over 200 scholarly citations. He was awarded the Highest Scientific Citations Award in 2025 and the Most Published Researcher Award in 2024 at the Faculty of Law level. He is also the author of International Protection of the Environment in International Criminal Law and Contemporary Environmental Issues: A Forward-Looking Legal Perspective toward Achieving Environmental and Climate Justice. He serves as President of the Future Foresight Association for Environmental Rights and Climate Justice and is a member of the Association of Environmental Law Lecturers in the Middle East and North Africa.
