Brief : Atidel Mejebri is the first female president of the Tunisian Press Council. She serves as the director of the Media Training Academy at the Arab Women's Training and Research Center "Kawthar" and the editor-in-chief of its periodical. She taught television studies for five years at the Institute of Press and Information Sciences after 15 years of experience in audiovisual media, during which she produced and presented television talk shows with a social focus. She received the Creativity Award for Best Seminar Moderation (Dialogue Moderation) at the Cairo Radio and Television Festival in 2002, the Hadi Abidi Award for Visual Journalism (2003), and the Best Television Program Award from the Tunisian Journalists Association (1999). For five consecutive years, she was a member of the Dubai Press Club's judging panel in the investigative journalism category. Etedal Majbari is also the national coordinator for the Global Media Monitoring Initiative (GMMP), which brings together 130 countries, and a trainer in media coverage of human rights issues, women's rights, and the contribution of women and youth to development in accordance with the 2030 Agenda.She has completed and contributed to numerous studies, including "Media and Access to Decision-Making Centers," "Adolescent Girls and Teenagers and Reality TV," "Arab Women and the Media," "The Political Reality of Women in Societies of Democratic Transition," "Internet Users' Representations of Women on Traditional Media Pages and Facebook," "The Extent of Women Leaders' Empowerment in Social Media Spaces," "Arab Media and Women's Rights," "Millennium Development Goals and Women's Empowerment," and "International Conferences and Women's Issues." She also collaborated with a group of Palestinian professors to develop a course on media and gender, and a document on how to sensitively address gender issues in newsrooms, for the benefit of students at Birzeit University in Ramallah. She designed and delivered distance learning programs on equality in the 2030 Agenda for civil society organizations. Civilians and media professionals.
