Webinar: From Commitments to Action: Arab Civil Society Strategies After WSSDII
As a continuation of its engagement around the Second World Summit for Social Development (WSSDII), the Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND) is organizing its fourth regional webinar to reflect on the outcomes of the Doha Summit and explore concrete next steps for Arab civil society.
This webinar will provide a space to assess the development implications of the Doha Summit, identify areas of progress and existing gaps, and discuss how civil society organizations can move from political commitments to meaningful action.
The session will feature reflections from ANND’s delegation to Doha, as well as strategic perspectives from regional and international experts on post-WSSDII advocacy priorities, policy coherence, and collective civil society strategies.
By bringing together civil society actors, researchers, and policy experts, this dialogue aims to contribute to shaping a coordinated Arab civil society response that strengthens social justice, accountability, and inclusive development beyond WSSDII.
