Pre-AFSD Regional Webinar Series | 2026
In the lead-up to the Arab Forum for Sustainable Development (AFSD), the Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND), in collaboration with members of the Regional Sustainable Development Platform—ATUC, CAWTAR, HIC-HRLN, ARFPD, ANDE, and Transparency International—is organizing a regional webinar series bringing together civil society actors from across the Arab region.
This series aims to create a space for reflection and dialogue on key development challenges, while contributing to the articulation of regional priorities and civil society perspectives ahead of AFSD and the broader global development agenda.

The discussions will focus on:

| ● | Structural barriers to social justice and inclusive social protection |
| ● | Economic inequalities and pathways toward fair and sustainable systems |
| ● | Climate justice in the context of geopolitical tensions and the lead-up to COP31 |
Objective
Through a series of interactive sessions, this initiative seeks to:
| ● | Foster collective reflection among civil society actors |
| ● | Identify shared challenges and priorities |
| ● | Contribute to shaping policy recommendations and regional inputs to AFSD |
Civil society actors, researchers, and practitioners from across the Arab region are invited to join and engage in the discussions.
