The 2022 UN Secretary General Progress Report providing a global overview of the current situation of the Sustainable Development Goals calls for “an urgent rescue effort”. The Secretary General recognizes that the interlinked global crises;  namely the COVID-19 pandemic, the climate crisis and the impacts of the conflict in Ukraine is putting the achievement of the SDGS at great risk.

The side event organized by the Arab NGO Network for Development will look at the interlinked global crisis from an Arab perspective with international and regional experts. The session will provide insights on how to frame systemic failures we witness and social justice concerns in the region.

Interpretation EN/AR will be available.
