Progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals is shaped by the different political, economic, social, and environmental realities of countries across the Arab region. National priorities vary, but many countries face shared challenges, including inequality, poverty, conflict, climate vulnerability, unemployment, debt, weakened public services, and limited opportunities for meaningful public participation.
